Hello Coach Minzer,

Thank you so much for sending these emails. I am Salvatore's mother, and I would like to take this opportunity to thank you (and I wish I could thank you in person). I decided for Salvatore to take your basketball class because I made him, not because he wanted it. He used to do soccer, but we gave up after two sets of enrollments. We thought he might not like any kinds of ball sports. After these few weeks of basketball practices, Salvatore surprised me. He does enjoy basketball!! :-) I just wanted to thank you for putting so much hard work into the kids. The fact that he changed from not caring to loving it tells me a lot about you.

Besides thanking you, I would like to know where you will coach basketball during winter. I know they'll pause the basketball practices soon, but I would like Salvatore to continue with you, if it is at all possible.

Hi Coach Manuel,

Thank you for a great camp. I wanted to write especially to commend Coach Art. My 5 yr old Ethan was in the spring camp with him and he had such a positive experience which is why we were back for summer camp. Coach Art was always patient and encouraging, and firm too, because 5 yr old boys need that! I really admire the way you all manage a group of kids with varying ages and skills. My son was one of the smallest, but never felt left out or left behind.

Thank you for making this such a positive experience! 

We will definitely be seeing you all again.

De Backer Family, Winter 2014 at Sunol 

Thaddeus LOVES this class, but his baseball is on Wednesdays, so we are going to hold off until the fall so he doesn’t just pass out. On Sunday night, we took a walk - it turned out to be about 2 miles — and Thaddeus dribbled his basketball (well, I must say!) the whole way.  He was in no way able to do anything like that before your great program! We hope to see at the next session!

We live in Santa Cruz and my son Collin was in Rebound Basketball Academy program a few seasons back. I have a friend who also has a son who is interested in the program who would like very much to take the class. My son gained more skills from Rebound Basketball Academy program than any other program he has attended in the area. I will try to get the word out how good your program is.

Thank you so much for offering this class.  It has been fun and Sam has learned a lot. We're going to sign up for a basketball league that is 2 days a week at the YMCA, so he can learn to play full games. Thanks to you and the coaches for helping him become ready to do that.

Just wanted to let you know that the Rebound Basketball program has been a great experience for my son Sean, age 6. Our family lived in Berkeley for 13 months, we moved here from Japan, and we are moving back next week. The time has been too short, but the Basketball class was perfect timing for Sean and he has enjoyed it immensely. Coach Kevin is wonderful with the kids and we really appreciated having the opportunity.
